COLE CREEK FARMS
AMERICAN WAGYU BEEF | IT’S WHAT’S NEW FOR DINNER
OUR MISSION
At Cole Creek Farms, our mission is simple: to put the highest-quality, best-tasting beef from our N.C. pastures on our customers’ plates. Our American Wagyu cattle are produced by crossbreeding full-blooded Red Wagyu bulls (also known as Akaushi) with Angus heifers, yielding beef with outstanding flavor, exceptional marbling, and some remarkable health benefits.
WHO WE ARE
Cole Creek Farms, owned and operated by Bruce and Quincey Church in Johnston County, N.C., proudly offers high-quality and sustainably raised American Wagyu beef. A small family-farm product from start to finish, our American Wagyu cattle are sourced from Quincey’s parents, Bass and Sandra Hyatt of Seven Meadows Farm, located in the beautiful Brasstown Valley of Clay County, N.C.–just about two hours west of Asheville.
WHAT WE DO
Bass Hyatt has worked for the past 20 years at Seven Meadows Farm to refine his Angus cattle bloodlines. He now breeds his Angus heifers to full-blooded Red Wagyu bulls. Why cross Angus with Red Wagyu? Because we get the best of both breeds: the superior marbling and meat quality from the Wagyu side and more feed efficiency from the Angus side. All our cattle are raised on pasture with access to plenty of shade, free of hormones and unnecessary antibiotics. We eat the same beef we sell to our customers, so we take all aspects of herd health and nutrition very seriously!
